About this title
Synopsis
The Anselm carries eleven hundred sleepers and has been between stars for a long time. Nobody aboard pays a fare. They pay in hours, thawed out one at a time whenever the ship decides it needs hands. Teodor Lund boarded at nineteen. He remembers three wakings: a coolant line, a hull weld, a burial. He is standing in the same corridor as the third one and he does not feel nineteen anymore, and the mirror agrees with him. The log is not locked. It has never been locked, because nobody who reads it stays awake long enough to tell anyone. It says eleven wakings. It does not say what he was thawed for on the other eight.
Who this is about
Teodor Lund boarded the Anselm at nineteen with no fare and signed the standard indenture: sleep the passage, wake when the ship needs hands, arrive owing nothing.
What goes wrong
On his fourth waking he reads the log properly. He has been thawed eleven times, not four, and the shifts he does not remember are the ones that paid the most.
What's at stake
Staying awake to find out what he did costs him the years he was promised back. Going under keeps the promise and lets it happen again to the eleven hundred still asleep.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more shift, one more gap in his own memory, and one more sleeper he could wake if he were willing to spend their years too.
Takeaway
Time is the only currency nobody can be repaid in.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
