About this title
Synopsis
There is a photograph the three of them keep, taken the morning after the wadi, and in it Wesley Dunn is twenty-one and alive because a sergeant and a medic decided he was going to be. Two years later Dunn signs for a fourth rotation, and so does Aurelio Diaz, and so does Cobb, and not one of them mentions it to the others until the paperwork is done and there is nothing to argue about. There are people at home asking each of them to stop. The valley is quieter than it was. The question waiting out there is not whether they survive it, but whether any of them wants an after the other two are not in.
Who this is about
Private Wesley Dunn is twenty-three and going back a fourth time, with Sergeant Aurelio Diaz and a medic named Cobb, who between them carried him out of a wadi in the third.
What goes wrong
Nothing dramatic. The war has changed shape and the three of them have not, and the thing that kept them alive together is exactly the thing making them unfit for anywhere else.
What's at stake
Each of them could stop. Each of them has somebody at home saying so. None of them can name what they would be, at home, without the other two.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more month of a deployment where the danger is real and the harder question is whether any of them still wants an after that the other two are not in.
Takeaway
Men will re-enlist for a war they hate to stay near people they love.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
