About this title
Synopsis
The drawdown lasts nine weeks. After that the estuary fills again and the Vesper Grace goes back under for another century, so Wren Kasko mortgages her boat and buys the salvage rights in four days. Forty-one men went down with that ship in 1911. The mate of record was blamed for all of them. He was her great-grandfather, and she has come for the log book, not the brass. Day three, the crew brings up a diving helmet. There were no divers on the Vesper Grace. The helmet is not empty, and Wren has hired six people on credit who are waiting to hear whether they keep going.
Who this is about
Wren Kasko is a commercial diver who mortgaged her boat to buy salvage rights on a wreck that has been underwater since 1911, because the mate blamed for it was her great-grandfather.
What goes wrong
The estuary drains for nine weeks and gives the ship back. On day three her crew raises a diving helmet, and the Vesper Grace carried no divers.
What's at stake
Nine weeks, a mortgaged boat, and six people working on credit. The log book is somewhere in the hull, and it may say her great-grandfather deserved every word.
Why it keeps going
The water comes back on a published schedule. Every day of salvage raises something else that was not on the manifest, and every day the crew asks to be paid.
Takeaway
A name cleared by the wrong evidence is heavier than a name left dirty.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
