About this title
Synopsis
Colton Hurd weighs 150 in August. He wrestles 132. Every year since he was fourteen he has spent the winter eighteen pounds lighter than he actually is, and every year he has made weight. This year his brother Dane made varsity as a freshman. They have driven to every meet together since November. Dane has watched everything Colton does in the two days before a weigh-in, and has not asked a single question about any of it. On the morning of the district final Colton steps on the scale two pounds over. He has ninety minutes. He makes it. Dane is standing by the door the entire time.
Who this is about
Colton Hurd wrestles 132 for a school in Cedar County, Iowa. He has been eighteen pounds under his natural weight since October. His younger brother made the varsity in December.
What goes wrong
On the morning of districts he steps on the scale two pounds over, and he makes it, and he does it in front of a fourteen-year-old who has been watching him all season.
What's at stake
He can say nothing and wrestle for a state title. Or he can tell his coach what he did and how, and lose the tournament, and possibly keep his brother out of the same room.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more weigh-in, one more meal skipped in front of a kid who copies everything, and one more week of a season that was supposed to be theirs together.
Takeaway
A younger brother learns the price of a thing by watching somebody he loves pay it.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
