About this title
Synopsis
There are two weddings on the fourth floor of the Braddock that Saturday, and exactly one sign, and the sign is wrong. Birdie Nowak does not discover this in time to do anything sensible about it. She is handed a place card, seated, and introduced to eleven people who accept her without question, which tells you something about weddings. She is also mistaken for a cousin from Duluth. She has never been to Duluth. She says the drive was fine. By the second course she is talking to the groom's brother. By the toasts she is enjoying it. There is a receiving line at ten o'clock, and a list, and a woman at the door holding it.
Who this is about
Birdie Nowak is thirty-four, recently and quietly divorced, and looking for the Kaminski wedding on the fourth floor of a hotel with two ballrooms and one confusing sign. She finds the other one.
What goes wrong
Somebody hands her a place card with a stranger's name on it, and she takes it. By the toasts she has been seated, fed, and asked to dance by the groom's brother.
What's at stake
Every hour she does not correct it makes the correction worse. Nick Vail is falling for a woman whose name is not the one on the card he keeps saying out loud.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more person who should have caught her, one more thing she has to remember she said, and one more reason to stay for the next song.
Takeaway
Nobody at a wedding checks the list, because nobody expects to be the person who does not belong.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
