About this title
Synopsis
Somebody has to stay awake while the ship runs. On the Ardenne it is Ceci Amado, two years into a four-year rotation, alone with eleven hundred sleepers and a greenhouse she has made unreasonably nice. She has read every passenger file. She knows which of them are married to each other, which of them are lying about their age, and which one packed a violin she is fairly sure he cannot play. In the ninth month of her second year the tally dial reads eleven hundred and four. The bays hold eleven hundred. She checks it twice, and then she stands in the corridor for a long while.
Who this is about
Ceci Amado is two years into a four-year watch aboard a sleeper ship carrying eleven hundred sleeping colonists. She talks to them by name while she waters the greenhouse.
What goes wrong
The tally dial that counts occupied pods reads eleven hundred and four. The bays hold eleven hundred. Four people are aboard this ship who did not board it.
What's at stake
Waking the captain ends her watch and hands the ship to a man who will vent anything he cannot classify. Not waking him leaves eleven hundred sleepers in her hands alone.
Why it keeps going
Two more years of watch, and a ship that keeps offering her small impossible things: a light in an empty corridor, a pod cycling itself, a fifth name.
Takeaway
The person keeping watch is the only one who ever learns what the ship does at night.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
