About this title
Synopsis
The drive is two hundred and ten miles, and Yvonne Prewitt has made it on eleven years of Sundays, leaving in the dark, arriving with the light still low over the fields, for forty minutes at a table she does not choose. Her son is thirty-one. She has watched him become a careful man across that table, in increments of forty minutes, and she has never once been late, and she has learned that the visit is the short part. The rest of her life has happened on that road. A daughter grown and gone, a man who waited and then did not, a house she is behind on. In April the facility moves him ninety miles further north.
Who this is about
Yvonne Prewitt leaves her house at four on Sunday mornings and drives two hundred and ten miles so that she can sit across a table from her son for forty minutes.
What goes wrong
Nothing goes wrong all at once. The visits are approved, then not, then moved; the car ages; the job asks about Mondays; and eleven years is a long time to hold a shape.
What's at stake
Everything she has that is not the drive has been arranged around the drive: a daughter, a house, a man who waited two years and then stopped.
Why it keeps going
Every Sunday is the same eight hours and forty minutes, and every Sunday something in the rest of her life happens in them, because that is where the road is.
Takeaway
Love that keeps a schedule is love, and it is also a life being spent.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
