You are backing a stage for perks, coins and early access. You are not buying a share of the title or any financial interest in it.
A pledge is a promise to back a campaign, not a payment and not a purchase of any financial interest. Nothing is charged unless the campaign is collected, and every campaign is approved before it opens. Full disclaimer
About this title
Synopsis
Rusnak Recovery is nine acres of gravel, one chain-link fence and a trailer with a space heater in it. Cal has run it alone for six years and has never once released a vehicle without a title in his hand. The sedan comes off the shoulder of the state road at eleven at night with nobody in it. The trunk is not locked. Cal wishes very much that it had been. The first man arrives before midnight. The second arrives at four in the morning with better paperwork and a worse manner. The auction is Thursday.
Who this is about
Cal Rusnak runs a one-truck impound yard on a state highway and follows the release rules to the letter, because his license is the only thing he owns outright.
What goes wrong
A car comes in off a wreck with something in the trunk, and two different men turn up the same night, each with paperwork saying the car is theirs.
What's at stake
Releasing it to the wrong man ends his license and probably more than that. Calling it in means explaining why he opened the trunk.
Why it keeps going
The yard holds a vehicle seventy-two hours before it goes to auction, and both men know that clock as well as he does.
Takeaway
Following the rules only protects you while somebody else is still pretending to follow them too.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
