About this title
Synopsis
A trader died at Pease River in the fall, over an insult that Tsayadi had already decided to let pass. His cousins had not decided that. They settled it for him while he was away with the horses. He is nineteen and the finest horseman in a band of forty people who have almost nothing left except three hundred head and a winter camp the trader's brothers can find in a week. The brothers want a body. They are not particular whose, and the debt was incurred in his name. In the morning Tsayadi cuts out one horse and rides south, toward the canyons, alone.
Who this is about
Tsayadi is nineteen, the best horseman in a band that has very little left besides horses, and the trader who died at Pease River was killed in his name.
What goes wrong
The trader's brothers want a body and are not particular whose. The band cannot survive a reprisal, and the two cousins who did it are the only family Tsayadi has.
What's at stake
Forty people in winter camp, three hundred horses, and a debt that will be collected on somebody. The only question left is which name gets carried down to the canyon.
Why it keeps going
He rides south alone with the horses that make him worth something to everyone he meets, and every man he meets wants them, or the debt, or both.
Takeaway
Blood owed in a man's name is still owed by him, whatever he was doing at the time.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
