About this title
Synopsis
Staff Sergeant Ivy Mercado draws the terrain product a mountain brigade drives on. Her name goes in the corner of every sheet. The chart on her desk shows a bridge across the Tarnak gorge. She has stood in that gorge. The bridge went into the water eight months ago and nobody has updated the source data since. A convoy routes across it in forty hours. Her signature is the last thing between eleven vehicles and a two-hundred-foot drop, and the colonel who wants it signed has already told her twice that the map is not the problem.
Who this is about
Staff Sergeant Ivy Mercado draws terrain product for a mountain brigade and wants one thing: to be believed the first time she says a road will not hold.
What goes wrong
The chart she is ordered to certify shows a bridge that fell eight months ago, and the convoy routing on it moves out in forty hours.
What's at stake
Refusing to sign ends a career she rebuilt from nothing. Signing puts eleven vehicles on a crossing she has stood on and watched give way.
Why it keeps going
The order comes down again every rotation with a new signature block and an officer who has not read the last one, and the mountain keeps moving underneath all of it.
Takeaway
Being right is worth nothing until you are willing to pay for saying so out loud.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
