50 more to reach the 50-backer floor
Back this at one of three levels. Nothing is charged now. Pledges are only collected if the campaign reaches $300, which is 60% of its ask, and 50 backers, and you can change or withdraw yours until then.
You are backing a stage for perks, coins and early access. You are not buying a share of the title or any financial interest in it.
A pledge is a promise to back a campaign, not a payment and not a purchase of any financial interest. Nothing is charged unless the campaign is collected, and every campaign is approved before it opens. Full disclaimer
About this title
Synopsis
Hallom lost the plant in 2019, and with it the diner, the tire shop, the second grade class at the elementary, and about four hundred people who did not so much leave as get subtracted. Ray Bissette spent four years getting it back. He wrote the letters and worked the commission and stood on the stage in a borrowed jacket the morning the new owners cut the ribbon on three hundred jobs. He is on nights now, like everybody. The line runs from ten until six and it runs full. Nothing has left the loading dock since March, and Ray is the only man in Hallom who has checked.
Who this is about
Ray Bissette is sixty-one, a former union steward, and the man who spent four years persuading a county and a buyer to reopen the Hallom packing plant.
What goes wrong
The plant reopens, the old night shift is hired back, and the line runs full every night. Ray checks the dock logs and finds that nothing has shipped out since March.
What's at stake
Three hundred jobs, a school that reopened, and a town that came back from nothing. Ray is the one man positioned to end all of it, and the only one asking.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more coworker Ray tells, and one more coworker who already knew, and one more reason the shift would rather he stopped counting.
Takeaway
A town will agree not to ask a question for as long as the question is paying its mortgage.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
