About this title
Synopsis
The rink at Paradise has lost money every month it has been open for nine years. Dot Halloran could tell you the figure without looking it up, and has, to several people who did not ask her. It is also the only building in town where four hundred children can reliably be found on a Tuesday in February, and very nearly the only thing anybody in Paradise agrees about. In January the county puts it on the list of properties under review. The meeting is in March. Dot has eight weeks, no plan, and a great many people who assume she has one.
Who this is about
Dot Halloran has run the rink in Paradise for nine years and could tell you what it loses each month without looking, and has, to several people who did not ask.
What goes wrong
In January the county puts the building on the list of properties under review.

Four hundred children, one building, and a budget meeting in March.
Why it keeps going

Takeaway

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
