About this title
Synopsis
Corinne Nakashima reads everything she signs, which is how a woman who has owned a house for three weeks ends up with eleven years of homeowners association minutes on her kitchen table. Most of it is fence colors and mailbox heights. Then a pattern comes up out of the paper. Since 2015, on every question that has come before the board, the vote has gone against the house at 114 Marberry. Forty-one times. The man who lives there stopped coming to meetings in 2019. Corinne has an invitation to the block party on Saturday and a binder with forty-one tabs in it.
Who this is about
Corinne Nakashima bought the house on Marberry Lane in March and, because she reads everything she signs, read eleven years of homeowners association minutes in nine days.
What goes wrong
Buried in the fence-color votes and the mailbox amendments is a pattern: since 2015 the board has ruled against one house, 114 Marberry, forty-one consecutive times.
What's at stake
The man at 114 has not attended a meeting in six years and has stopped fighting. Corinne can leave it alone and be liked here, or she can bring the binder.
Why it keeps going
Every episode is one meeting, one agenda item, and one more polite person on the board discovering that the new neighbor has read the footnotes and brought copies.
Takeaway
Small power is the only kind that keeps minutes.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
