About this title
Synopsis
Margot Ivers has worked one city for nine years. She knows which of her people drink, which have children, and which are being watched already by men who have not yet decided to act. Burning a source is not new to her. It is arithmetic, done carefully, and she has done it twice before and slept afterward. Headquarters wants it done again, to shelter something larger, and the arithmetic is not in question. The source is a ministry clerk named Elena who has never told her a single lie, in nine years, about anything, including the things there was no reason to be honest about. They meet Thursday. Margot has until Thursday.
Who this is about
Station chief Margot Ivers has run agents in the same city for nine years and knows, to the week, how long each of them has before somebody notices.
What goes wrong
Headquarters wants a source burned to protect a larger one. The arithmetic is correct and she has done it before. This time the source is a woman who has never once lied to her.
What's at stake
The larger operation is worth more lives than one. Margot can do the math and does not dispute it. What she cannot do is stop being the person who makes the call.
Why it keeps going
Every episode is another meeting where Margot says nothing about what is coming, and another week the woman across the table trusts her a little more for it.
Takeaway
Trust given to a professional liar is the heaviest thing anyone can hand you.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
