About this title
Synopsis
Nine years, one thread, six people. Three divorces, two firings, one funeral, and roughly forty thousand messages nobody ever intended to be read by a stranger, or by a lawyer, or twice. Two weeks before Nadia Brandt's wedding, the six of them find out that one of the six has been saving screenshots since the second year. Nobody admits it. Everybody has a theory, and four of the theories are about each other. The seating chart is already printed, and table four seats six. Nadia can uninvite five people she loves, or she can leave the chart exactly as it is and watch.
Who this is about
For nine years six friends have kept one group chat running through three divorces, two firings and a funeral, and Nadia Brandt has read every message twice.
What goes wrong
Two weeks before her wedding they learn that one of the six has been screenshotting all of it for years, and nobody will say which one.
What's at stake
Nadia can cancel five invitations and keep her wedding, or seat all six at one table and find out what nine years of honesty is actually worth.
Why it keeps going
Each episode surfaces one more archived message, out of context and years old, and each one is true and each one is worse than the last.
Takeaway
Nothing said in confidence is ever destroyed, only stored by somebody who has not decided yet.
