About this title
Synopsis
Bellwether Station cuts up dead ships. The kids in the bunkhouses grow up in the noise of it, raised in shifts by whichever adults are not out on a survey run that month. In April a survey crew of seven stops answering. The company posts them lost with all hands and closes the file in nine days, which is a fast nine days, and it does not explain the beacon. Six of their children can hear it on a bunkhouse receiver. There is a hauler in the yard with forty days of air in it, and none of them is old enough to sign for a berth on anything.
Who this is about
Six kids from the scrapyard bunkhouses on Bellwether Station, none older than seventeen, all of them raised by the same shift rotation and none of them raised by their parents.
What goes wrong
The company posts a survey crew as lost with all hands, closes the file in nine days, and cannot explain a beacon still pinging from the drift where the crew went missing.
What's at stake
Seven adults nobody is looking for. Six kids with one stolen hauler, forty days of air, and no legal existence off station once they cut the mooring.
Why it keeps going
The drift is enormous and beautiful and full of things nobody has charted, and every leg of it costs them a part, a friendship, or a week they do not have.
Takeaway
The people who will not stop looking for you are almost never the people who were paid to.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
