About this title
Synopsis
The story about Wyatt Rourke and the six seconds outside the Bellamy in seventy-one gets told in this town roughly once a week, usually to somebody passing through, and usually by a man who was not there. Rourke keeps a store. He is fifty-eight. He has not carried in eleven years and he does not correct the story, because correcting it would mean telling it, and telling it would mean saying out loud what the other man's name was. In April a young man takes a room above the saloon and begins asking, politely, where the store is.
Who this is about
Wyatt Rourke keeps a store in a town where the story of what he did in seventy-one is told a great deal more often than he has ever told it.
What goes wrong
A young man arrives who has heard the story and would very much like it to have a sequel.
What's at stake
Rourke can end it in six seconds, or spend what is left of his life being the man who would not.
Why it keeps going
Each episode the young man escalates by one small degree, and each degree is still one Rourke could walk away from.
Takeaway
A reputation is a debt other people keep taking out in your name.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
