About this title
Synopsis
Amos Teague is a deacon at Little Hope Baptist. In January his daughter had four weeks left. In February she did not. Amos knows why, and he has never told anyone, including her. The rule is simple. It cannot come in unless somebody in the house asks it in. He has laid the line every night for eleven months. He sleeps across the doorway. He has not missed once. This morning there is a bare footprint on the inside of the salt. The line is unbroken. That means the asking came from in here, and there are only two people in the house.
Who this is about
Amos Teague is a Baptist deacon in west Tennessee who invited something into his house eleven months ago, in the week the doctors gave his daughter four weeks to live.
What goes wrong
She lived. He has held the salt line every night since, alone and without explanation, and this morning there is a bare footprint on the inside of it.
What's at stake
The line is unbroken, so the second invitation came from inside the house. Only his daughter could have given it, and putting her out is the only remedy he knows.
Why it keeps going
Every night he decides again whether to lay the salt, tell his church, or finally ask the girl he saved what she has been promised.
Takeaway
A prayer answered by the wrong thing is still answered, and it still has to be paid for.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
