About this title
Synopsis
Dana Whitlock calls her mother every Sunday from four hours away and has always thought of that as a reasonable amount of daughter to be. Then she comes home for Christmas. There is a man in the kitchen. His name is Teddy, he is a year older than Dana, he has fixed the porch step and the storm door, and he knows which of the nieces will not eat anything green. Her mother is happier than she has been in nine years, and says so, out loud, twice. Dana has until New Year's to decide whether that is a problem, and whose.
Who this is about
Dana Whitlock is thirty-eight, lives four hours away, and calls her mother on Sundays, which she has always considered a reasonable amount of daughter to be.
What goes wrong
She comes home in December to find her mother happy, and the reason is Teddy, who is thirty-nine, fixed the porch step, and knows the names of Dana's nieces.
What's at stake
Dana can be the daughter who breaks this up and be right about it, or she can stay through January and find out what everybody else already gets from him.
Why it keeps going
Every episode Teddy does something Dana should have done years ago, cheerfully, without noticing, and she has to decide again whether to be grateful or offended.
Takeaway
Nobody resents help as much as the person who was supposed to give it.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
