About this title
Synopsis
Six jump. Captain June Halloway counts them off the ramp herself, one through six, into the black over western Iraq in the second week of the air war. Seven assemble on the ground. Nobody is missing. A seventh man is simply there in the dark with the right challenge, the right countersign, the right everything, and no name on any manifest she has ever seen. Two of her men will not look at her. The objective is sixty miles out, radio silence holds until dawn, and Halloway has to decide, standing in the dark with people she trusted an hour ago, whether the patrol steps off seven.
Who this is about
Captain June Halloway leads a six-man team onto a night drop zone in western Iraq in 1991, hunting mobile launchers in country nobody has walked in a hundred miles.
What goes wrong
The team assembles in the dark and forms up seven. No one is missing. Someone has been added, he has the correct challenge and countersign, and he is on no manifest.
What's at stake
The mission is real and the launchers are real. So is the possibility that Halloway is walking a stranger with a rifle sixty miles into open desert, on authority she cannot reach.
Why it keeps going
Every episode she gets a piece of who he is and loses a piece of who her own men are, because two of them clearly knew before she did.
Takeaway
The worst thing about a team keeping a secret is learning how well they can do it.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
