About this title
Synopsis
The Gravewell yard hangs in a high slow orbit with four hundred dead ships gathered around it like a congregation, and it has not released one of them in fifty years. Nadia Prieto has come to sign it away. She writes off dead assets for a living and she is very good at it, which has always meant looking at a number instead of a hull. The keeper meets her at the lock. He is old, he has been alone here a long time, and he has the name of every crew that ever came in written down in a hand that does not shake.
Who this is about
Nadia Prieto writes off dead assets for an insurance combine. She is good at it, unsentimental about it, and has never before had to look at what she was erasing.
What goes wrong
The Gravewell yard has been towing in wrecks for fifty years and releasing none of them. Its last keeper has logged every crew by name and will not let the hulks be cut.
What's at stake
Her signature turns four hundred ships and eleven hundred names into raw alloy. Withholding it costs her the career she built by never once withholding it.
Why it keeps going
The keeper walks her through the yard one wreck at a time, and every wreck has a story he can tell and a family somebody never notified.
Takeaway
A thing is only worthless once the last person who remembers it agrees.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
