About this title
Synopsis
For thirty years the Boudreaux trucks have run out of Lafayette under a banner that reads Sacred Heart Relief, and for most of them the banner has been true, and for about twenty of them it has also been a door. Thibault drove. Thibault decided. Thibault went to confession about it at a parish two towns over, where the priest did not know the family name. In April his cab went over on I-10 outside Beaumont and burned for an hour. Marc is twenty-six. He has loaded a thousand trailers and driven none of them. The men his brother owed came to the funeral, stood at the back, and were kind to his mother.
Who this is about
The Boudreaux brothers have hauled for Sacred Heart Relief out of Lafayette for thirty years, and for about twenty of them the trailers have not only held what the paperwork says.
What goes wrong
Thibault, the eldest, burns to death on I-10 outside Beaumont. Marc is twenty-six, he has never driven a load, and the men owed money do not observe a mourning period.
What's at stake
Running the debt out keeps his mother's house and the parish's name intact. Refusing it hands both to men who will collect from whoever is standing closest.
Why it keeps going
Each episode is one more run he tells himself is the last, and one more thing his brother knew that he is finding out by driving into it.
Takeaway
A family can carry a lie a long way if everyone agrees to take a turn at the wheel.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
