About this title
Synopsis
The order is one typed sheet. Sergeant Rey Ocampo reads it twice, signs nothing, and burns it in a coffee can behind the tent, because that is the procedure and the procedure is the point. Six men cross a border that officially is not crossed, in a war his government locates two hundred miles east of where he is standing. On the second night the team is compromised. Two come back. Four do not. Extraction needs aircraft, and aircraft need a mission number. There is no mission number. There is a burned sheet and a colonel who is genuinely sorry and genuinely unable, and forty hours before the four men stop being a rescue.
Who this is about
Sergeant Rey Ocampo runs a six-man cross-border team out of a camp that is not on any map, in a war his government says is happening two hundred miles east.
What goes wrong
The order comes on a single typed sheet. He reads it, signs nothing, and burns it in a coffee can, which is the procedure. Then the team walks into a compromise.
What's at stake
Four men are still out there. Getting them out requires assets that only exist if the mission does, and on paper the mission is ash in a coffee can.
Why it keeps going
Every episode Ocampo asks somebody higher for help he cannot describe, from people who cannot admit they know, while the men waiting have hours rather than days.
Takeaway
Deniability is a promise the men who write it never have to keep.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
