About this title
Synopsis
Della Sorkin and Tom Ahn have climbed together nine summers. They have a rule about turning around and they have kept it every time but one, and that one still comes up at dinner, nine years later. On the second morning, two thousand feet up the east arete of Breaker Ridge, a slab the size of a barn lets go above them. Nobody is hit. The mountain simply stops being a solid thing. There is a clean line off the west side. There is also a voice in the gully below them, a soloist with a leg that will not hold him, and one rope between the three of them.
Who this is about
Della Sorkin and Tom Ahn have climbed together for nine years and have a standing rule about turning around, which they have honored every time but one. This is the tenth summer.
What goes wrong
Two thousand feet up the east arete of Breaker Ridge, a slab the size of a barn releases above them, and the whole face becomes something that moves when you touch it.
What's at stake
There is a clean line down the west side. There is also a soloist pinned in the gully below them who will not last the night, and only one rope between the three of them.
Why it keeps going
Every hour the mountain gives up more of itself, and every hour the fast way down and the right way down move further apart, while the man in the gully keeps calling up to them.
Takeaway
Mountains do not test character. They only make it impossible to postpone.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
