50 more to reach the 50-backer floor
Back this at one of three levels. Nothing is charged now. Pledges are only collected if the campaign reaches $300, which is 60% of its ask, and 50 backers, and you can change or withdraw yours until then.
You are backing a stage for perks, coins and early access. You are not buying a share of the title or any financial interest in it.
A pledge is a promise to back a campaign, not a payment and not a purchase of any financial interest. Nothing is charged unless the campaign is collected, and every campaign is approved before it opens. Full disclaimer
About this title
Synopsis
Reyna Salas drove other men's trucks for twelve years and learned the Laredo to Bakersfield corridor well enough to run it in the dark. Now she owns four rigs and eleven drivers. The freight nobody will insure pays four times scale. It pays that because the road is already owned. Not the asphalt. The scale house, the yard gate, the fuel stop, the dispatcher who decides which trailer gets pulled. All of it answers to somebody who wants a piece. In March they take a driver instead of a payment. He is twenty-three and she hired him out of a yard in Odessa. They will give him back for a number, or for a favor nobody has named yet.
Who this is about
Reyna Salas drove for other people for twelve years. Now she owns four trucks, eleven drivers, and a route between Laredo and Bakersfield that nobody else will run.
What goes wrong
The freight is legal. The road is not. Every scale house, yard and fuel stop on the corridor already answers to someone, and they want a cut or a driver.
What's at stake
Paying keeps her people breathing and makes her one of them. Refusing keeps her clean and puts eleven drivers she recruited herself on an open road alone.
Why it keeps going
Every load is a negotiation she can win with money, with a favor, or with something she cannot take back, and the price climbs each run.
Takeaway
A road belongs to whoever is willing to be worse on it than you are.

Where your money goes
Your money goes straight to the creator to turn this pitch into a trailer. A pitch today is a poster and a logline. What the money buys is the first piece of film anyone will see.
Nothing is collected until two things are true
This campaign has to raise $300, which is 60% of its ask, and reach 50 backers. Whichever of the two happens later is the one that counts. Money without backers is one person, and backers without money is a crowd that cannot fund the thing, so a Pitch campaign needs both.
